Introducing 7 Satya partner SPOTT, developed by Zoological Society London

7 Satya is a proud supporter of SPOTT, a free, online platform, developed by ZSL’s sustainable business and finance specialists, for assessing commodity producers, processors and traders on their public disclosure regarding their organisation, policies, and practices related to environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues.

The SPOTT assessment framework scores companies in the palm oil, tropical forestry, and natural rubber sectors annually against over 180 ESG indicators to benchmark and monitor their progress over time. This helps investors, buyers and other organisations to inform stakeholder engagement, manage ESG risk, and increase transparency across multiple industries.

The SPOTT platform recently launched its training video portal offering free FI-focused training on addressing ESG risk and biodiversity impact in soft commodity supply chains.

The SPOTT supporter network includes prominent firms in financial services, investments, insurance and consumer products. 7 Satya has been a partner since 2022.
